Privacy Policy

WebLight.app provides browser-based lighting and display tools without requiring an account. Local tool processing is separate from the information used to operate the website, understand usage, and respond to messages, as described below.

Tool content and device permissions

Lighting effects and processing of files you select for tools run in your browser. WebLight does not upload those files to its servers for processing. Slides, logos, saved teleprompter scripts, and some tool preferences can be stored in your browser on that device. They are not an account backup and do not automatically sync to other devices.

Features such as camera preview and music-reactive effects request camera or microphone permission when you enable them. Camera previews and microphone analysis are processed locally for the tool; WebLight does not send those streams to its servers. You can revoke access in your browser settings. If you provide an external image URL, your browser requests the image from that host, which receives connection information such as your IP address.

Analytics and technical information

We use Google Analytics and, when configured, Statsig to understand page visits and interactions such as selecting an effect, changing a control, using fullscreen, or opening an FAQ. Page addresses may include query parameters. These services may process identifiers, cookies or browser storage, IP addresses, device and browser information, and usage events.

Our hosting infrastructure and service providers also receive technical information when your browser requests pages or submits a form. This can include IP address, request time, requested URL, browser details, and error information needed to deliver the site and diagnose abuse or failures.

See how Google uses information from partner sites and the Statsig Privacy Policy for details about their processing.

Contact messages and feedback

When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email address, selected subject, and message to respond to your request. Feedback submissions include your rating and any comment or email address you choose to provide. These submissions pass through our server and are delivered to our support mailbox using SMTP2GO. Contact submissions can also generate an acknowledgement email. Do not include passwords or sensitive media in a support message.

Google reCAPTCHA is used for abuse prevention when configured. Its script can load across the site, and Google may process IP addresses, browser and device information, cookies, and interaction signals to assess automated activity. Contact verification tokens are sent to our server and checked with Google. See the Google Privacy Policy, Google Terms of Service, and SMTP2GO Privacy Policy.

Cookies, browser storage, and your choices

You can remove saved tool content by clearing this site's data in your browser. Local storage persists until you clear it or the browser removes it; private browsing may discard it when the session closes. Blocking storage can prevent settings and slides from being saved. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

The site currently has no cookie preference panel. Analytics can load when you visit; there is no site-level accept or reject setting. Your browser may offer cookie and tracking protection controls. Google also offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. That add-on does not control Statsig or reCAPTCHA. You can contact us by email if you prefer not to use the form.

Advertising

Google AdSense ad serving is not currently enabled in WebLight. If we enable Google advertising, Google and its partners may use cookies or identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, and, where permitted, personalization based on visits to this and other sites. We will update these disclosures and provide the applicable consent controls before enabling that use. Google advertising preferences are available in My Ad Center; those preferences do not disable this site's analytics.

Retention and privacy requests

Support messages remain in our support mailbox so we can handle your request and follow-up correspondence. The website does not implement automatic deletion of that mailbox. Analytics and infrastructure retention depend on the service provider and account settings; clearing your browser data does not delete records already received by those services.

To ask about information you submitted, request deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email [email protected]. We may need information to identify your submission. We will update this policy when our data practices change.
