- Shrinking Islands: musical chairs on lava. The floor starts full of rocks and empties until one gold winner's rock is left
- Lava River: rocks float right to left at different speeds, and the river speeds up every round
- A big countdown projected on the floor, with optional countdown beeps
- Five lava styles: Molten, Cracked, Cartoon, Blue Magic and Toxic Acid
- Angle correction, an alignment grid and brightness evening for a projector on a table or shelf
- No camera, no sensors and no video files. It runs in any browser with WebGL
- 1Aim your projector at the floor and open this effect on it. A projector on a table or shelf, tilted down, works fine.
- 2If the projector points at the floor at an angle, turn on the Alignment grid, set Far edge, and raise Angle correction until the grid's sides run parallel on the floor. Turn the grid off.
- 3Choose a Game. For Shrinking Islands, set Players to how many are playing; for Lava River, set how many rocks drift and how fast.
- 4Select Play Fullscreen. Players start at the edge of the lava. When the countdown hits zero and the floor says JUMP!, everyone needs to be on a rock.
- 5Darken the room. Lava shows best on a light, matte floor or a pale rug or sheet.
- 6Clear the play area of anything to trip over, and keep cables and the projector out of the way of jumping kids.

Floor projection usually means a ceiling rig. Three setups that work from a table or shelf, and how to fix the stretched picture an angled projector gives.
