About Falling Snow Projector
Projector Effects

Make it snow on a window, wall or TV. Choose gentle snowfall, a heavy storm, big drifting crystals, wind-blown snow or a magical sparkle, and let it settle along the bottom edge. Everything else stays black, so only the snow lights up.

Key Benefits
  • Five snowfall modes: gentle, heavy, large flakes, blowing and magical sparkle
  • Flakes fall at different depths: small and slow in the distance, large and soft up close
  • Snow can settle into a drift along the bottom of the picture
  • True black background, so a window screen shows only the snow
  • Scale, position and mirror controls for front or rear projection
  • Runs in any browser with no video files and no WebGL
Perfect For
Winter and Christmas window displays
Snowy backdrops for parties and school plays
Shop windows through the winter season
Calm winter ambience on a TV
How to Use
  1. 1Connect your projector as a display and open this effect on it.
  2. 2Pick a Mode, then set Amount and Wind to taste and enter fullscreen.
  3. 3Turn on Settle at the bottom to build a snowdrift along the lower edge.
  4. 4Use Scale and Position to fit your window or wall. Turn on Mirror horizontally when projecting from behind a window screen.
  5. 5Darken the room and adjust Brightness. At 0% the output is black.
  6. 6Plain clear glass will not show the image. Hang rear-projection film, a sheer white curtain or frosted film in the window.
